Luiz Felipe Scolari Sees the Chelsea Exit Door
Luiz Felipe Scolari started of his football career as a defender for clubs such as Caxias, Juventude, Novo Hamburgo and CSA. He was not known as much of a skilful player but rather uncompromising.
After a short career Luiz Felipe Scolari decided to get into management, his first role was that of the club he played for CSA, whom he won a major trophy with as a player. But his management did the speaking as he won the Alagoano state championship in his first season. He then went on to manage further clubs before taking on one of Brazils biggest clubs Gremio in 1987 which led to a championship title win.
His rise to worldwide fame though came when he was appointed manage of the Brazil national squad. The squad at the time were struggling to qualify for the 2002 World Cup. After miraculously getting them through, Brazil then went onto win the whole competition, shortly after Scolari resigned as manager.
Scolari then went on to manage Portugal twice before making his way to the English Premier League to take control of Chelsea. He started off very well but after a few months in charge Chelsea hit a bad patch and Scolari got shown sacked.
But was it correct to sack someone that has only been in the role for a few months? In my opinion it is not and this is why football fans are getting angry. The club owners are spending so much money that they expect to win every match, but as the regular expression goes, money can't buy you everything.
Why do you think that clubs such as Arsenal and Manchester United are always doing well? It's because they keep their managers for years who have a connection with the players. And that is one thing the clubs cannot buy, they cannot make time advance so that managers have time to settle in. It is not about buying the best players in the world, sometimes doing that can end up making the worst team. It is all about teams, players and managers getting on with each other and this is what all these clubs that are throwing huge amounts of money at players are doing the wrong thing.
They are trying to get a profit as soon as they make there investment and will end up losing if they think like this. If you are buying a football club then don't squander all the money straight away look at it as a long term investment rather than a quick win solution.
4 Soccer Training Tips For Success
There is a lot of valuable information that can be gained through tips and tricks that are given to us by others. Soccer is no different, no matter how old you are or how long you have been playing, there is always something new to learn. These four soccer training tips can help you improve your performance on the soccer field while improving your confidence.
Endurance Training Can Slow You Down
Many soccer players think that by performing regular endurance training tasks, they can last longer in a game and perform better. This is actually not true though. It has been shown that building up endurance can actually create slower athletes. This is because your body had learned how to conserve a certain amount of energy for future use in order to go a long distance.
This is one of the best soccer training tips for improving your overall performance and speed. If you have been one of those players who prepares for the soccer season by running long distances, then you need to stop. Running sprinting drills will be able to build up your endurance while improving our sprinting and running speed as well.
Exercise Each Leg Separately
Most people think of soccer as a two leg sport, meaning that you use two legs at all times. This is not true though. As you are cutting and dribbling down the field, you will cross over and use one leg at a time. Since this is the way that your legs work throughout an entire game, one of the most important soccer training tips involves exercising each of your legs separately.
To do this, try attempting single legged squats and other activities that separate one leg from the other. By isolating one leg at a time, you are able to build the strength up in each one by teaching them how to work independently, which will lead to better performance during a game.
Strength Train Correctly
Strength training can be done in one of two ways. It can be done for volume or for intensity. When you lift lighter weights for more repetitions, you are training for volume which will build bigger muscles. As a soccer player, you need to learn how to train for intensity which will make you stronger and more powerful.
When it comes to helpful training tips this is one of the best. Many players waste time training in the wrong way and end up with bulkier muscles that make it hard to perform. If you train correctly however, your power will be more intense and targeted.
Keep Technique in Mind
When training for soccer, it is important to keep technique in mind. Just because you can lift 200 pounds does not necessarily mean you should do it if you can't do it precisely. For the best results, go for a lower weight that allows you to do the exercise correctly in a precise and technical way.
Soccer training tips can help you improve your training experience for the upcoming season. No matter how old you are or what level of soccer you are playing, you can benefits from the information included in the above tips. When you take your time and train in the correct way, your game play becomes a lot more effective.

Italian Serie A - Beckham Helped AC Milan Jump to Second Place After Beating Lazio
The English midfielder of 33 years old David Beckham and his current team AC Milan jumped to the second place of the standings of the Italian Serie A by beating Lazio in great way 3-0 this last Sunday at Rome. The Englishman, after scoring twice in the last four games as an AC Milan player, added two assists this last game against Lazio, setting up goals to the Brazilian striker Pato in the first half at minute 42 and to the Italian midfielder Massimo Ambrosini in the beginning of the second half.
Since Beckham started his participation with the AC Milan, the club has been unbeaten, winning 3 games and tiding just one match. With these last results the club has not only increased their chances at the table but also has raised the team's performance. With Beckham inclusion Ancelotti has fixed the midfield problems and the lack chemistry with the strikers, which had been also an issue at the beginning of the season, and has build up a well-developed and more balanced team.
Moreover, despite having a muscle injury in the last game, Beckham looked great against Lazio by playing the 90 minute mark and adding the contribution of the two assists goals to his teammates. After those two scorings, Kaka ended the victory with a great goal at minute 38. This victory represented for AC Milan a second spot in the standings while the leaders Inter tied against Torino and Juventus lost against Cangliari. Currently Inter has 50 points, AC Milan has 44 points and Juventus is now third with 43 points.
For his part, the Vice-president of the AC Milan Adriano Galliani expressed that the club intentions are to acquire David Beckham since the club is doing so great with the English player who has contributed to these amazing results.
"We're desperate to sign him and I will keep hoping until the last possible moment. When he first came to us I thought he would do well but I never thought to such a degree. It would be terrible to lose him so we'll make little overtures to try to keep hold of him and then our fans can have a great party when Beckham stays," stated Galliani.
Likewise, AC Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed his satisfaction with Beckham's performance and has included the English midfielder in the UEFA Cup squad list for the two matches against Werder Bremen, which will be played on February 18th and 26th. Nevertheless, Ancelotti hopes for negotiations to turn out well so Beckham can stay with the club and play the rest of the season and the UEFA Cup.
The Beckham's comeback to LA Galaxy is scheduled to be on March 9th, but AC Milan hopes they can negotiate with the US club to extend the loan until the end of the Italian League season or to acquire David Beckham with a good deal. However, it is impossible to know yet what will happen with AC Milan intentions and LA Galaxy decision and what will be Beckham's decision at the end of this month. Whatever he decide we hope to keep watching his great football skills and talent during his time with AC Milan and later with the team he chooses to stay.
